The birth of a child marks a defining moment in your life. From this day forward, EVERYTHING changes. You have a new reason for living. You have a new reason to love. And just weeks from now, your little one will no longer fit so tiny in your arms. They are only this little for so long. With a newborn portrait session at My Eye Photography we will help you, preserve those memories forever.
The best time to contact me is during your pregnancy so that you don’t miss out. We will make a tentative booking based on your due date and then I will wait to hear from you when you arrive home from hospital with your new baby. We can arrange a suitable time and date for your session then. The ideal time to photograph newborn babies is around 6-10 days of age. I like to allow for plenty of time for feeding and cuddling during the session so it will take between 2-4 hours. I have lots of props for you to choose from and I like to involve you in the styling of the session.
Pre-Consult
This is when all the planning and brainstorming happens. Your session becomes a breeze since we've already done all the 'homework' on what to photograph, what to wear and where to go. Schedule this consultation as early as possible to ensure the session date you want.
The Session

Order Appointment
About one week after your session, we invite you back to our studio for the premiere order appointment. We will view each image and select your favorites. Seeing your images and knowing that they will be in print forever is magical!
Pick Up
4-5 weeks after your Order Appointment, your order is complete! There is nothing more satisfying than displaying your family images in your home. It lets everyone who enters know what's most important to you!
